I am trying to decide between these 3 schools, and I would like to make this decision very soon.

Could someone who is familiar with these schools (or at least one of them) provide me with some insight/advice? I am mostly concerned about student satisfaction (both educationally and with student life in general). I am not looking for an interpretation of the schools ranking.

I would greatly appreciate any insight that you can provide. Thanks for your help!!

Definitely not Georgetown, and then between the other two it is a toss up. Both Emory and NYU are really good schools and they match well. You just have to decide which has the students/research options/curriculum/atmosphere/city etc etc that you like.

I second ValleyGal's opinion. I think it's a toss between NYU and Emory. I think you would encounter MUCH less beaurocracy at Emory than at NYU. However both have very good research programs. It also depends on whether you'll be accepting or repulsed by the city atmosphere at NYU which is in a very crowded (yet quite pleasant if that floats your boat) downtown part of NYC.

I'm more familiar with NYU as I was considering for MSTP. So if you have any particular questions you can PM me.

I don't know about Emory, but if you are interested in health policy and public health then don't go to NYU. When I interviewed the guy said that the school wanted to be more involved with public health stuff but that the school wasn't really involved at all yet.

Emory...

My dear Emory...

Tis but a memory...
