according to wikipedia:
A facultative anaerobic organism is an organism, usually a bacterium, that makes ATP by aerobic respiration if oxygen is present but is also capable of switching to fermentation. In contrast, obligate anaerobes die in presence of oxygen.
& we know that the initial bacteria are gram + facultative anaerobics.
I think I'll go for option a
 
Since Gl 's setting has a "low exothermic" reaction it's rather unlikely to disturb the tooth and since we see this kind of sensitivity in amalgam filling too, I guess the proper option is A.
