Given that you're from NY as long as you saturate the North Eastern area (assuming that you would like to stay there) you should be ok. The ORM status hurts a bit but your stats will way overpower that if you want to and have the means add a few lower tier schools to guarantee you'll be in med school next year. Good Luck

i have seen it alot in reference to schools i.e. tulane, tufts etc. but what exactly do you mean by low yield?

That these schools get a ton of applications, so statistically there is a lower chance of getting in. And to protect their yield, they often reject people whom they don't think will attend.
