???? AMCAS made a mistake? Your overall college GPA isn't really a 4.0??

Amcas averages retake grades with original grades, while some (most?) colleges only count your retake in their gpa. Maybe that's it?

How can your AMCAS overall GPA be a 3.17 if your overall college GPA is a 4.0? 😕

As a high school student, why are you worrying about AMCAS?

Just curious.

I think I just misunderstood what he said?
He got poor (<3.17) grades the first time he was in college, and took no science classes.

He then got a science degree with a 4.0. So his science (BCPM) GPA is listed as a 4.0, while his overall grades takes into account both his earlier (<3.17) and current (4.0) classes to come up witht he 3.17 overall GPA.
