Hey,
I got IBT score 80,my part1 81,is it ok to apply this year for NYU and rest of schools?I mean its just a try, im not over confident.Im too disturbed can anyone help me.

Thanx!I really appreciate ur reply, u dont even know how much its boostin my broken heart. I had tough time writin exams like everyone of us in this forum did.Redoin is a not a matter, again it takes lot of time & hard work. I had a mind monster sayin , whether to apply this year or just quit.Thanx once again! u saved me! Just in case, does reapplyin to any schools with better score of part 1 ,the next year upset?I value anyone's opinion.Please help.

I agree with BDS-DMD that you should retake Part I. It seems like anything less than 85 won't get you anywhere these days. It's a very harsh reality out there, unfortunately. I know retaking the exam takes a lot of time and hard work. I know it because I'm preparing to retake it for the second time and studying for it just drives me up the wall at times and I just get really frustrated. But I can't see myself doing anything else besides trying to get into a dental school so that I can practise dentistry in North America. Because of that, it gives me the motivation and courage to go on. If practising dentistry in North America is what you really want, like me, then all the hard work and time you put into studyng now will be more than worth it in the end. Don't give up. Good luck 🙂

Ur reply is factual & realistic. It gave me back the spirit i lost in couple of days.As ur name says u really r cheerin up the enthusiasm.I do agree with u guys that i should redo it.Can u me guide with this?Have u taken ur part 1?If yes, when? If no, can i join u.I need the advice & help from anyone,is appreciated.
