Hi all,
I gave my Toefl exam on the 4th of nov(toefl ibt) and during the time of registration through phone ,i had the institution codes of boston and upenn and they told me that after 15 days u would be able to see the scores online and at the same tim insitutions will be recieving it ..today i called the toefl center to confirm and they said that ur scores would be available to u on 30th of nov..and will be mailed to the institutions on the same day .he said it will take 2-3 wks before institutions can see them..i guess that will be too late..i dont know why they do that..initially they told me that i can c them in my emil in exactly 15 days and now they said it as nov 30th which is more than 15 days..n then 2-3 wks after that..can anyone suggest me something?

I took the TOEFL in May of this year and I got my results through the mail in about 2 weeks. So I think you'll get yours in about 2 weeks as well, and I don't see why they will wait for another 2-3 weeks to mail the results to the schools. What I suggest you do is that once you get your results, give them a call and ask them if they have sent the results to the schools as well. If they haven't what you can do is get a photocopy of the results that they sent you and get it notarized and fax it to UPenn. I think UPenn accepts notarized copies at the time of application, but I don't think BU does. You might want to confim this with UPenn. Anyway, even if your TOEFL scores reach the schools by mid to late December, you're still well within the deadlines and so I wouldn't worry too much about it. I know, with the deadlines approaching, you want to get your scores in as soon as possible. You might want to mention this to the TOEFL centre when you call to check on the results. Hope that helps.
