Hei guys
Did anybody use(hear about) central line placed in the persistent left SVC for TPN? PLSVC drains into the right atrium through the coronary sinus(by angiogram) as in majority of cases.
I found several case reports re this issue. The articles are mostly about kids. My pt is 64 yo M. Some case reports described successful use of CVC for TPN/ some were complicated by coronary sinus thrombosis. Any input will be appreciated.
Thanks.
