I was interested in PM&R (Pain medicine & rehab) and wondered if anyone had any suggestions as to where to do Rotations in 3rd & 4th year. Also whats the oppurtunity for someone in this field to focus mostly on sports related injuries? Any info on PM& R in general is also appreciated

There is some really good advice and some very knowledgable people in the PM&R forum in the Residency section of the forums. Your sports med q is specifically addressed it the FAQ section there and there are several good posts about rotations. Also, just FYI PM&R = Physical Medicine and Rehabilitation

Although it is always a good idea to do rotations at specific locations you intend to apply, PM&R is pretty non competative. It has one of the highest FMG percentages, and most people, even DO students, get their choice of residency in MD programs. If there is a specific region you like, let us know, and maybe we could point you to some of the more reputable programs. Also, if you want to do sports, of course some residencies will be better than others, but in the end, you have to do a fellowship any ways. As noted above, check out the PMR threads.
