Hey yall, I have been fortunate to receive an acceptance at PNWU and an interview at Touro in Middletown. I am really stuck between the two and can't seem to decide. I want to go to the school that will set me up for residencies in EM, FM, and PEDS. I've posted this ina million places and keep getting a neutral answer. I have done countless spreadsheets comparing the two and they end up tying. ive come down to curriculum (PNWU) vs location/support (Touro).

PNWU (Yakima, WA)
Pros:
* residency match is amazing (99.5% match)
* beautiful wineries and breweries
* born and raised in the PNW
* more established (2005)
* seem very nice and I like the self-study and optional lectures
* match well into my wanted residency programs
* pass/fail
Cons:
* middle of nowhere
* no family or friends in the area anymore (all moved back east)
* rotation sites are not as solid and make me nervous (although they just signed a contract with Multicare in Tacoma)
* board pass rates are low at 93 %

Touro (Middletown, NY)
Pros:
* super close to my family (4 hours away)
* board pass rates are higher at about ~98%
* great clinical rotation sites
* faculty seem so nice
* match okay into residency programs on the east
* part of established Touro system
Cons:
* lower residency match rates and the match rates are spotty (97%)
* expensive... ($100,000+ a year)
* building is an old hospital
* curriculum is not the best for me but doable (Flipped classroom)
