Are there any good readable pocketbooks to read during downtime (ie something like the washington manual)

The "Current Clinical Strategies" OB/Gyn pocket book was exceptional--a real help for the shelf exam and for reading in between patients. My rotation also lent us the Memorix pocketbook, but I preferred the CCS one.

I'm looking for a good one, too (I start OB/GYN in 2 weeks). I did buy the little red book, though, on the advice of my classmates.

Skyscape has a nice Palm version of the Johns Hopkins Manual of Gynecology and Obstetrics, for reference. You can get a free demo at skyscape.com.

the "red book" is also very helpful.
