I would start now. I had interviews from August through November during my 3rd year. I signed the contact with the hospital I'm at now in that December.

I would start looking around september... these are the websites i used... PMnews, podiatry exchange, acfas and apma... and I'm sure I'm forgetting a couple. I started getting job offers in December but I didn't settle... and very glad for it. I ended up taking a job early May (day after boards...talk about stress!!!)...and I'm so happy with the way it worked out. I feel like people wanna have a job locked in by the end of the fall, and thats fine but just don'tsettle!
