Federal podiatrists (DOD, VA, etc.) are required to maintain one active state license, irregardless of the state in which they are currently practicing. For example, a .gov podiatrist could practice at a facility in Alaska, while having an active state license in Florida.

Is there a particular state license out there that uses APMLE 1,2,3 as their certification exam, can apply for the license without presenting in person, allows for out of state CME, and has low fees year to year?

There are a ton of states like this. I believe this website can get you to the places the quickest. www.fpmb.org/%2fResources%2fMemberBoardsInfo.aspx. Both state's I have licenses in did not require any additional testing . Pay your dues, send in APLME part 3 and there you go. Everyplace accepts out of state CME.
