How many poetry passages can we expect on the April 05 MCAT?

Zero...the MCAT doesn't do poetry. Also, if you are doing MCAT prep and your passages have poetry...I wouldn't trust your books.

at some point somebody posted a bunch of stuff about poetry and such on the MCAT. I think it's funny that some people didn't realize it was a joke.

Those posts were lies...sorry to tell you. Also, if you didn't know that then I HIGHLY recommend you read the MCAT material: www.aamc.org. Before you take the MCAT you should at least be educated on what material will be on it. Good luck to you!
