My dream school = UCLA SOM (aka Geffen  )

What do you guys think are the points of diminishing returns strictly in terms of stats? It's a subtle point, but I'd like to know approximately at which point GPA and MCAT doesn't really improve your application (i.e. the points after which score X vs. score Y is appoximately considered equal and the difference is no longer relevant)

My guess would be that it would be something like 3.8 & 35 for a school like UCLA. I'm satisfied with my scores (both are less than the ones I've just listed), but I guess it's part curiosity and part to see where I stand stats-wise.
