I moved the political discussion thread to the sociopolitical forum. Please try to keep discussions on this forum about pain medicine and refrain from political discussions. I understand that politics and religion are very emotionally charged topics. Please try to remember to treat each other with the mutual respect and courtesy you would give your physician colleagues in face to face meetings and conferences. Just because this is an "anonymous" forum doesn't mean you can hide behind your usernames and forget all social decorum and etiquette. Let's keep this a professional and civil place to have discussions about pain medicine. Thank you!

It is one thing to have a healthy conversation and disagreement, but when in results in being called a troll, having your education bashed, your practice bashed and just plain insulting comments..... I think a ban is reasonable

Agree that ad hominen attacks are pointless. That was my thought above. We should be able to disagree with each other without resorting to personal insults.

I don't agree with how Trump behaves with people. I didn't vote for him, mainly because I'm worried his lack of diplomacy will drag the US into another war.
However, so far he is keeping campaign promises in his first two weeks in office better than any other US president in history.

yes, but the way he interacted with you was much different than the way he interacted with others, most noticeably with those who did not have his conservative positions.
