Poll of Residency Match Plans

Hello everyone. With the on-going debates regarding a joint match process, I thought it might be valuable to assess our plans for the match.

ALot of my choices will, unfortunately, be of necessity to where my husband and I end up after grad school. SO I will apply to both but it will be not because of the type of program, meaning MD or DO, but other factors involved (i.e. proximity, and then type of specialty, etc.).

This poll won't really be indicative of any preference students may have for DO or MD residencies. People would apply to mostly DO or MD for many various reasons.
