Im considering retaking the NBDE part I, but heard that there is a new rule that sayz if you passed the part I, you cant retake it for a year???

If that's the case, then if i take it this summer, would it only be pass/ fail or do they still have numerical scoring. I havent registered yet.

Thanks

well as of jan 2010..no one can retake the exam if they have passed the exam....so since you haven't registered for the retake..i guess you cannot retake it if you have passed it earlier...and they still give out numerical score...pass/fail sysytem will come into effect from jan 2012

thought it was something like you had to wait a year to be eligible to retake it if you passed? So then if I cant retake part I, then my only option is to kick ass on part 2?

How much does part 2 factor into specialty programs?

thx
