Post-bac people, can you help me with a search term/phrase?

Hi Post-bac people,

I've tried to search and had no luck. It's frustrating because I'm sure my question has been asked and answered 1000 times on SDN, but here goes:

I took post-bac classes after I graduated 10 years ago. Now I'm taking post-bac classes again. 10 years ago I wasn't serious and, of course, the grades reflect that. Now I'm doing well. I suspect that regardless of the 10 year lapse the grades will all be included together in my Post-bac GPA. Is that correct?

If you know of a search term or phrase with a bounty of info on this subject, a link would be appreciated.

I'm also in the market for a good general info/FAQ link for post-bacs.

Thanks in advance.

There is a post-bac forum: http://forums.studentdoctor.net/forumdisplay.php?f=71

If you also look at last year's thread on filling out AMCAS, you should find a link to directions about filling it out as well as a lot of discussion. People have asked every question imaginable and probably yours is well along with a full discussion 🙂. As a postbacc, I think I'd agree with your assumption that your classes ten years ago still count as postbacc, because when you enter them on AMCAS, they definitely won't qualify as freshman, sophomore, junior, or senior years of college (and everything else qualifies as postbacc pretty much).

Agreed. They will still count in your post bac GPA.

Thanks, everyone. A very nice welcome to SDN. 🙂

And I'm on my way to that link, scarletgirl777. Gracias.
