Been reading threads for a while thought I start one of my own.

Who am I:
June 2015 Graduate looking to go to med school.
Have not taken ANY pre-req science courses.

What I have to work with:
Major: Economics with Comp Sci Minor
cGPA: 2.993
sGPA: 3.129 ( according to AMCAS classifications )
GRE: 158-Verbal, 156-Quant, 4.0 Verbal
Research: Two independent applied mathematics papers, unpublished

What I am currently doing:
CSCS cert, working as a trainer at my local gym
Phleb tech, working at my local hospital

Current plan of action:
Applying to Post-Bacs and Masters for Spring 2016
Applying to schools to get a second Bachelor's for Spring 2016

I am looking for advice on how to proceed.

I am looking for people with similar experiences and how they matriculated to MD schools.

Sorry to hear about your injuries.

Figure out how many credits you need to get your GPA's to around a ~3.5 ish. If you can do that with a post-bach, go for it.

Thanks NYCdude, how's Langone?

Calculated it out. 50 ( 3 unit ) more classes with a 4.0 average.

A second bachelor's almost seems more plausible at this point.

Or would a post-bac + master's be a better route?

There are many, many more people with the experiences you are looking for in the postbacc forum.
