Anyway taken a Post-Bacc Premed Program. Good/Bad? Any programs you would recommend? Please let me hear your experiences?

I took a post-bacc program at U of Penn -very good. Not as structured as programs at Bryn Mawr and Columbia, but I was glad to be able to set my own schedule. The science classes are very competitive and quite rigorous. I feel that I got excellent preparation for the MCAT. Good advising re applications, rec letters, etc. Lots of opportunities for research and volunteer activities.

I am a student in the post-bac program at Bryn Mawr College. As the student at UPenn said, it is a VERY structured program, but if you like a very intimate, nurturing environment, then I would reccommend it. I haven't applied to med school yet, but former students have had very positive things to say about Bryn Mawr's reputation with med school admissions committees.
I am happy to answer any specific questions via email at [email protected]
