what is the best format for this? email, professional letter, or one of those cards with thank you on the front and you handwrite your message on the inside? or something else?

sorry if this has been discussed before... i tried searching and the words thank and you get removed from the searching terms :(

Most will send thank you cards where you handwrite something on the inside. 3-5 sentences telling them 1) thanks, 2) talk about something you discussed & make it personal, 3) reiterate why you want to go 4) thanks again

If your interviewer seems technologically competent, and he/she gives you his/her e-mail, an e-mailed thank you won't hurt either.

And yea this is discussed about once every 3 days.. but that's ok atleast you tried ;)
