It doesn't matter how you sort them. They will be printed out in some standard way. Supposedly the medschools, if they ever get electronic transmissions, will be able to sort them however they'd like. Try the help menu when you have questions like this. It's full of all sorts of useful tidbits.
I tried the help menu, but there was nothing of help there. does anyone else know why this may be happening, or how it orders the experiences in each category when you sort by type.

You may sort and display your post-secondary experiences by experience type (e.g., military, research) or chronologically. Your designated medical schools will also be able to sort and display your experiences by type or date regardless of your display preferences.
