Our class recently hosted skit night and we have a lot of great vet videos that are pretty funny. There are about 20 but I'll just post direct links to my favorite ones (my group of friends did the Dynamite one :D )

We have this tradition here at WSU called Junior Revue, where the incoming 4th year class puts on a whole program of skits, songs, videos, etc, to celebrate the beginning of fourth year. I couldn't find any videos from this year's Jr Revue on you tube, but there are tons from last year posted. Some of my favorites:

WSU CVM Green Glove Dance! Funnier if you know the people, but basically its a bunch of our staff, professors, and clinicians dancing around in gloves. This years class did a follow-up blue booty dance with everyone wearing blue surgical booties.

hahaha these are all so great!! It's nice to see the creative and outgoing side of people since during most of the year we are all serious and studying 24/7.

allthingsequine--even though i don't know the people, as i watch it i'm totally thinking of all of our professors, technicians, etc and it still makes me smile!! I love seeing the interaction between students and professors. Our community is so close :love:
 
Aww, we don't put up our skits on youtube. We have to make a lot, too. Every year, each class hosts a Happy Hour and we make 5 skits to promote that, and they used to require the first year class to make a skit for White Coat (we didn't because White Coat ran really long), and the third years have to make an additional 5 skits to promote Round-Up in September. Then when you're in 4th year you make a CD compilation of all the skits and sell it to the other classes. It's kind of a shame, some of the skits this year had me in tears laughing. We made a good one called "Histo Face" that was a mix of Baby Got Back, Poker Face, and 123. I really liked that Dynamite one in the OP; a lot of these videos are great!

Haha Braki, one of the vets I work with showed me pictures of the skits at WCVM decades ago when she was in vet school there! Glad to hear they are still going strong! Hoping to be joining you there in August! :xf:

And on a side note, I actually went to Junior Revue at WSU (visiting a friend) so after seeing the Blue Bootie dance there, I am glad I finally got to see the Green Glove Dance! :)

Omg Lei...the day one skills/OSCE one is fantastic. And where was the Toxic one when I was studying for husbandry last week!?! :laugh:

I can't remember which schools they were from, but there were several "**** Vet students Say" ones that were hilarious and totally translate to all vet students.
 
I would post ours, but we only have one on youtube, and it's less vet related and more Glasgow inside joke related. It involves the resident pineapple that moves around the library and campus. Never know where it's gonna end up next...:cool:
