Starting to think about postdoc applications and wondering what listserves are out there other than APPIC. I'm at a VA so our training director is forwarding on VA announcements as they come in. I very well may stay within the VA but I was wondering if there are other listserves that might be useful. I'm interested in clinical positions.

Anyone have any good postdoc listserve recommendations or other ways of locating postdoc positions?

Hi everyone,

Also, be sure to check out the following sites.

APS POSTDOC EXCHANGE (http://www.psychologicalscience.org/index.php/post-doc-exchange/browse-categories/)
APPIC directory (http://www.appic.org/directory/search_dol_postdocs.asp)
APPIC Postdoc-Network E-Mail Listserv (http://www.appic.org/EmailLists/Chooseadiscussionlist/PostdocNetwork.aspx)
APA Division listservs (i.e., Division 38 for Health Psych)
The VA (http://www.psychologytraining.va.gov/programs.asp#pdfellowships)

Good luck!

Dr. Josh

ABCT/SRCD/APS post-doc exchange and other professional organizations are good resources. APA Monitor is pretty comprehensive. PICC was essential for college counseling. Also try Higheredjobs.

An excellent source is your state psychological association's (SPA) listserv. You usually have to be a member of your SPA. From my experience, it is the best way to find a job, network, et cetera as a lot of employers post positions on there because it is free to them and targetted to the audience they want
