Hey all,
If you only had one day to take practice AAMC, which one would you suggest to take? I took almost all of them but my score is varying a lot and it's between 28-36. Which AAMC can provide the closest estimation of the real MCAT?

Most users say your average from AAMCs 7-11 will best approximate your real score. With that in mind, if I could only take one I'd take #11.

That would depend on if you're seeing a trend.

If your scores are something like 28-36-30-34-29-35, then there's really no good estimation of how you'll perform on the test.

If your scores are something like 28-30-32-34-36-35, then it might be that you've identified earlier weaknesses in your test-taking approach, and I would say that your performance on the MCAT would probably veer closer to your later scores.

Of course, the AAMC practice tests are only there to give you a general sense about how you might perform on the MCAT. You really can't account for things like a "bad day" or a passage that's over material that you haven't covered, so take that into consideration when evaluating your scores.

That's a good point.

If your scores are more like the first group, that's usually indicative of poor understanding of some topics since your score is dependent on whether or not you get topics that you understand well. If your scores are more like the second group, I wouldn't be worried.
