I am a D2 at UNLV SDM and I wanted to get the word out about our pre-dent sim course. I wish I had known about this course when I was applying. I highly encourage you guys to sign up if you are thinking about applying to UNLV. Plus, what better excuse to spend the weekend in vegas? Kill two birds with one stone

During the course you will:
- Make typodont impressions and pour them in stone
- Use a high speed dental handpiece and other dental instruments
- Prepare cavity restorations
- Fill cavity preparations using both amalgam and composite
- Identify normal dentition
- Model a central incisor in wax
- Earn a certificate of course completion
- Meet the Assistant Dean for Admissions and Student Affairs and Faculty on the Admissions Committee
