Pre-Health Committee Letters

Does anyone know if letters from a PreHealth Committee are REQUIRED? Would it really hurt my chances of getting into medical school if I just sent in my own individual letters.

I just found out about the committee and do not have time to get them the required materials. Please answer. Thank you!

If your school has a pre-health committee, for the schools I applied to, a letter from them was expected. Generally, it is permissible to write a letter explaining the circumstances why you cannot provide such a letter. This is school specific, which means you'll have to look on the website or call each school to ask their policy on the matter.
