Hey guys I am going to post a link to a question I posted in the pre allo forum and would appreciate your input on that also.
My question to you guys though is since if I do apply to med school it will most likely be an osteopathic program is how big or D.O schools on post bacc work. I didn't do very well when I first started college an since then I have retaken those classes and received all A's in those classes. I still have some pre med courses to finish and I get a scholarship to my university since my mother got through the same program. I could finish my BSN over the Summer if I really wanted to but if I drag it out and take 1 or 2 classes at a time I could also finish my pre med courses in 2 semesters while receiving a discount because they are affiliated with my hospital based nursing program. Either way I will be prepared to take the MCAT in the early summer of 2017 but one route will lead to me applying with post bacc work with my BSN mostly completed 1 or 2 classes left and my pre med courses finished, and the other will be me just applying with a BSN with all of my Pre Med Courses Completed. I haven't definitely decided on applying to med school but I am going to finish my pre med courses just in case so when I make up my mind during these next semesters I will be prepared to apply. Here is a link to my question in the other forum. http://forums.studentdoctor.net/threads/pre-med-to-bsn-and-regretting-the-decision.1155007/
