*Pre-meds*: Ball mouse or Optical mouse?

Which do you prefer? I've used both in my time, and can't pick a favorite. I like the diversity of the ball mouse, but the sweet redness of the optical.

i recommend optical mouse because ball mouses suck!!! i had to repair my mouse a couple of weeks ago because my ball mouse stopped working...it picked up too much static or something. Definitely OPTICAL MOUSE>>>BALL MOUSE 😀

first of all, i use the touchpad on my laptop like a champ. second, i want to kill people who always pick up there optical mouses and blind me with the stupid red light.

I've got to vote for the optical mouse. An old ball mouse will get sticky and require a good cleaning. Optical mice have never let me down.

I love my microsoft optical intellimouse (with scroll wheel + 4 buttons). I have had it since Summer 2001. It has never let me down. No cleaning whatsoever. However if you are working on a glass surface (glass table top) or other reflective surfaces the optical mice may not work well because sensor will be confused by the reflected laser! Hope this helps.

Oh and for my reason why.......

Optical mouses are easier to move around because they are completely flat. You don't have to clean them out and they just generally work better.

I just got a wireless optical mouse with the little rolling scroller thing. It is hot. At my school, the people would always take the balls out of the computer mice....and they recently switched over to optical mice. They're hot too. 😍

I switched to a laser mouse, the newest and best. There is no red light.

The only advantage of ball is that if you get mad at someone, you can take the ball out and throw it at him.
