Doctors brace for possible big Medicare pay cuts
The sad thing is that reading the comments there seems to be a lot of people who think that this is perfectly fine since doctors are "overpaid" anyways and that they shouldn't be complaining. What they forget is that you need to work your @ss off during medical school acquiring 150k+ in debts and then you have to do residency for 3-5 years working 80 hours a week for a measly 40k salary. I want to see where their tough guy mentality is when they get into an emergency and come begging for a doctor to save their lives.
