Quick question for anyone out there:

Should I address my switch from Pre-Pharm to Pre-Med in my personal statement? Why or why not?

does it factor in to why you wanna be a doctor?

It is more of a "finding myself" experience than anything else.

I enjoy both the idea of pharmacy and medicine. I found in a pharmacy setting that pharmacists have little patient interaction and I know that would frustrate me to no end. In addition, medical topics are far more interesting to me than anything going on in a pharmacy. That is quickly summarized, but should convey the main idea behind my switch.

I didn't mention it. I would say that a quick word about it should be fine, but by medisdabest.blogspot.com (good resource btw) one shouldn't talk about other career options in the personal statement, and it really should be answering the question why medicine.
