I just got an interview at Harvard...which is great, BUT I never took Calc II (took stats instead) which is required before I matriculate. Basically, I never thought there would even be a chance I got an interview, so never bothered to take it...

Do you think it's okay for me to take the course during the summer (thus after I figure out if I got in) or should I suck it up and take it this spring...

Harvard interviews a larger fraction of applicants than many other schools. So if you think you have a shot and would want to go there, and you're sure they require it, take it this spring. If you don't think they'll take you anyway or wouldn't go if you got in, then don't take it AND don't interview (waste of time and money).

Do NOT want/try to get in and leave a prerequisite for the intervening summer.

K.. another question on the same lines: Does anyone know if Harvard accepts CC credit...cause it is the least expensive course...
