I got a lot of Bs in my pre req classes. To be honest, the upper level courses are easier than most of the prerequisite classes. Are they looked at differently by admissions people? I feel like my gpa is sort of inflated because the upper level classes I have taken were easier than my pre req classes.

The relative difficulty of upper level courses vs pre-reqs probably varies from program to program, so I don't think adcoms focus much on such details. Regardless, a good upward trend will only help.

Doing well in upper level courses will not be detrimental, don't worry. If you feel they are easier than the intro courses and your GPA is inflated because of this, well, best just keep that to yourself.
