just wondering how long it took your schools to send out letters (when)...
my school did not even begin interviewing until October for letters, and then did not send letters out till first week of NOV., and
files complete in mid-NOV...
Is this a terrible disadvantage for me??
I had all my secondaries finished since september/oct., and i have recieved 2 interviews, 1 rejection (pre secondary), and 15 ignores ("file is being reviewed")....
please advise...

I don't think you're at a disadvantage with your stats. Unfortuately, I know that particular committee only frustrates the process, is generally disorganized, and is not well respected.

Otherwise, I wouldn't sweat it, you sound like a fine candidate and it's still early for you. Also, make sure to have your individual letters forwarded by your professors since the committee wont do it for you (check it out). Don't let their letter be the deciding factor in your potential acceptance, especially at those schools.

I'm in a similar situation and I know the waiting sucks. I think it may have been a slight disadvantage at some schools, but overall don't worry about it too much.

P.S. Is VQ3.5 a Nissan engine code?

yes, VQ is the engine found in many Nissans and Infinitis, I am just a car freak, that is all...

this is now one month later and all I have aquired is just 1 more rejection (pre-secondary) and 1 more interview.
The lateness of my letters are starting to show the disadvantage as I read more and more people getting acceptances...

I think you'll see some movement soon since most committees were off until the 6th. Check your PM.
