How negatively does earning a 'C' in premed courses affect your chances of getting into med school?

As long as it doesn't become a habit (along with other stuff like smack and coke) you should be fine. Don't worry or dwell. --Trek

So then I should probably lay off the coke then too? :/

my first semester I got a C- in chem lab. My third semester I got a C+ in cell bio. I got an A or A- in everything else. It should be ok as long as your gpa stays high...I went from a 2.8 to a 3.67, so get back up there.

Then again, I haven't been accepted yet......
(But it's because of my mcats, not my gpa)

p.s. In classes you don't do well in, be sure to cover it extensively before the mcat...that's where I think I messed up

good luck :D

Thanks for the advice. I got a C in second semester physics and also a C in Calculus, but my GPA is still around 3.6 and rising.
