Study out of Spain. I don’t know how anyone could use retrospective pregnancy data to draw any conclusions.

Also googling around about Spanish pregnancies

Interesting the country will pay for your fertility treatment under the age of 40!

Nah. Every time a study like this comes out, most of the OBs I know groan.

Retrospective data ≠ causation.

Needing over 70,000 pts to yield a + OR (and a fairly unimpressive one at that) suggests a pretty dubious signal to begin with.

Doesn’t seem to pass the face validity test...given how many women take apap during pregnancy, shouldn’t tons of kids have autism and ADHD?

Even if there does turn out to be some small connection, what would be a safer alternative PO med during pregnancy?
