Hey SDN Psychiatry Forum readers,

Current PGY-4 here, and our residency program has started giving us a series of didactic lectures geared towards board exam review. A number of attending who have recently taken the boards have mentioned that the board exam tests various prevalences of psychiatric illnesses. It seems like these would be pretty easy recall questions and things that should be memorized. Does anyone know of a resource that has prevalences of all the psychiatric illnesses listed somewhere? It seems like this could be a good table to have for a quick review before the exam.

Thanks!

You can just skim the DSM and make your own list. Pretty sure it has prevalence for every major disorder and could probably be done in less than an hour.

As a PGY-4 you're a bit past this point, but FA Psych has epidemiology for most of the major classes of disorders.

Lots of these questions in kenny+spiegel, they'll cover most of that + most genetics and receptor/transmitter questions. I vaguely recall some questions on the boards but could very easily just be recalling K+S.
