Primary Application Essay or Secondary Essay?

Which essay do the ADCOMS place more emphasis on? I spent so much on my primary application personal statement before I was finally happy with it, and I thought the secondary essays would be easier to write...but if anything I think they are a bit harder. What do you guys think?

I think they are equally important. Need a good PS for a secondary and then need an equally good if not better secondary essay for an interview. Both are a pain in the butt with a lot of repetition... GL
