Ok, so I've had a ton of neuroscience research experience, and after reading articles and articles and exploring different areas, I've found an interest in Primate research -- specifically, learning and memory, or any other options, I would consider.

Does anyone know of any university labs that use primates? I want to apply for an MS degree at these schools, or an MPH, but still do this kind of research, and I want to stay in an academic atmosphere.

The only ones that I know of are Yale and Emory.

Hi Philosopher
I did research with rhesus monkeys at Duke, studying decision-making behavior and its neural bases. I know that there are several labs at Duke that work with primates and it also works out well since the Duke curriculum allows for a year of research.
Let me know if you need any more info...

I know that there are some labs in the neuro department at WashU that use primates. I don't know much about the details, but someone in my class is doing a summer project in one such lab.

Little old South Alabama has a great primate lab. I've visited it. They are very humane and care for them well...

UCSD has one.

Tulane University Health Sciences Center has one.... http://www2.tulane.edu/hsc/primate_profile.cfm You will just have to email the center for more information :)

I worked in a neuroscience lab at the Primate Research Center at the University of Washingon, Seattle. Great place.

I worked with New World Monkey brains at Cornell. Oops, still no acceptances.....
