Anybody else have a Final Decision: Unknown ?

(yes, it actually says unknown)

Changed from "yes" on 10/26, and I interviewed on 9/19

yuppp, i have the same status (unknown). I actually called them before my status had been updated online and they said my application was "continued" and that they had mailed something via snail mail explaining it in detail. (they also said that being continued is different from being waitlisted.. i'm guessing it's a deferrment)

It's weird that your status went from YES to Unknown, though.. Did you mean that it went from NO to unknown??

that's really interesting, will you let us know when you get this detailed snail mail explanation? maybe they're reviewing you at future meetings?

I don't think anyone knows what it means. I still have "no," but I interviewed on 9/25, so I don't think they've gotten there yet.

There's something else besides admitted, rejected, and waitlisted? This is way too complicated, I wish they would just make a decision. I would also be really interested in hearing what the explanation is.

My final decision is still a "no", and I interviewed on the same day as you. So I dunno what is going on... this is so confusing.

Crazy- I had a final decision made: no and now it says unknown...

i just got rejected from an interview; i called and checked. my status showed yes/no.

i feel like i'm not going to get in anywhere again (reapplicant), this is the first post-secondary response i've received, and it seems to be a harbinger of a disappointing outcome. i don't know whats wrong with my app. i'm reapplying 35 mcat, 3.5 gpa, real good clinical, bit of research. sucks most to be stuck living with my ****ty parents. thats what sucks about this process - being stuck

Maybe you could write and ask? Frame it as "what is most important for me to improve for next year?" even if what you're thinking inside is, "damn it, what is so wrong with my app that you jerks won't even interview me?"

i've heard that the committee meets once a week. is this true? and if so, does anyone know, um, what day of the week they meet?

Yeah, someone told me that they meet every Wed. But then it doesn't make sense that it's been more than two weeks since two people were accepted on 10/17...
