problems with PDF/adobe

I have received several secondary invitations- the application is in PDF file. The computer is letting me type my info and essay but for some reason it won't let me save it. I was wondering if anyone knows why?
What should I do in the case I can't save it?

Yeah that sucks. Unfortuately, the person(s) who wrote those pdfs in question have locked the "save" option. You can only print it. There's no way to change that really with the free version of acrobat that I know of.

I have the full blown version of Adobe Acrobat (4.0), which allows me to get around that somehow.

I'd copy the questions into a word doc and save the info there. When everything is perfected, copy your stuff into the pdf files and print it off.

Yeah, you need Adobe Acrobat Professional to save the fillable pdfs.
