Procedure for joining DDS in USA for International students

Hello,
My wife finished BDS and currently doing residency in India. She will complete her residency by October 2010. She is planning to study DDS here in USA. But she don't even know where to start. I'm sincierly requesting you for some information to get into this.
Any kind of information will be really appreciated.
