hi guys,

i was wondering what the process of becoming a dental assistant is in california, and how it has changed due to covid? are any schools offering online programs?

From what I know, you don't need schooling for becoming a dental assistant. A lot of offices are willing to train you in CA.

In California, you do not need a license to work as a dental assistant and can be trained by an office that is willing to train you. Depending on the office's protocol, some may require you to obtain an x-ray license and some may require you to take an infection control class.
