I am in the middle of preparing my residency application and I am not sure which program I should reach for, so any advice would be greatly appreciated! I am interested to apply for university based IM programs because I am considering in academic medicine. Here are my stats:
Osteopathic medical student
234 USMLE step 1, 1st attempt
Didn't take step 2 CK or PE yet, but will
5 publications and a few abstracts, no first authorship with 3 years of research
a few volunteer experiences
What are my reach programs for IM? Thanks, I really appreciate any feedback anyone would give me!!
