hi,

just wondering if IM programs - once the interviewing is done - will call or write to you and tell you they are interested in you. I know there is some legal issues to walk around carefully here, but do they at least make a suggestion to you if they are interested? thanks in advance

I've had a couple programs tell me that I'll be very high on their rank list. Is that unethical? I have no idea, but it is nice to know.

Hey Fanconi, did the programs tell you this during your interviews or were you sent letters? Also, if you don't mind me asking, which programs?

These were places (not going to say which ones) where I interviewed last week. They just sent me an e-mail. 🙂
