Pros/Cons of University of Minnesota Vet School

I recently submitted my applications for vet school and even though admittance could decide my fate I have been grappling with where I really want to go. I am from Minnesota and have family, friends, and work connections there, but at the same time a lot of people tell me to go somewhere new (NC state, which would be gorgeous) while I can. I would love to hear back from anyone who attended U of M vet school with pros, cons, or general life advice. Thanks!

There's a thread for that over in pre-vet, it's the Factors When choosing a School thread, stickied at the top of the thread list. If you go to the last page there's a document where the pros/cons from the whole thread for each school are compiled.
