Hey everyone...I'm preparing a presentation and I was wondering if anyone knows of any watchful waiting or active surveillance clinical trials for prostate cancer. I'm having a little bit of trouble finding high impact studies on this particular topic. I know there are plenty of PSA screening trials out there, but not many on active surveillance. Any help toward pointing me in the right direction would be much appreciated.
Thanks.

Best trial addressing active surveillance, in my opinion, is the Klotz Phase II trial. Update published in JCO last year. Trial was truly "active surveillance," not "watchful waiting" as was performed in the Bill-Axelson randomized trial. Connecticut Cancer Registry JAMA paper also a useful resource. START trial closed last year, which would have provided the best data if completed.
