Hey guys,

I see the last post on this topic was 2008, so I hope I will be excused for asking again

As an IMG hoping to do a psychiatry residency on J1, what is the current situation with regards to getting a waiver position? I have read up all the technicalities of the process, but wondered if anyone had a more specific impression of how easy it is to get these jobs at the moment.

Furthermore, will doing Child and Adolescent significantly affect my chances, either way?
