Psychological associate

Hi guys,

Is anyone familiar with what a psychological associates does?

Recently, a prof of mine said that psychological associate can practice with a Masters degree, and while, they work under someone with PsyD, they see their own patients, etc.

Does a MA in clinical psych lead to this? or is there a specific program?
Anyone know of schools either in Canada or US that offer kind of program?

The terms are arbitrary. States have many different "titles" for masters level providers, and it sounds like this is what this is if they are seeing patients for therapy.
