I'm particularly fascinated by dark triad trait research so I'm glad to see that these researchers assessed for it in both groups, even if it's only briefly discussed.

This is stupid. There is a wealth of research about correlations between factors like parenting style, five factor stuff which also correlates with FSiQ, and political affiliations.
